Sweet Magnolia
The magnolia flower is known for it’s resilience, diversity, beauty and Southern charm. We all face storms in this life, but, by the grace of God, those storms grow and shape us.
Hey y’all! I’m Jessica Griffin, a wife, mama of almost three, event coordinator, tea connoisseur, and woman saved by grace through faith in Christ.
Similar to everyone else, I’ve walked through deep valleys and celebrated on top of some of the highest mountains. My heart grieves over what could or should have been, but rejoices in the blessings I have been given. Most of life’s moments have been pondered over on a porch, whether it be a front porch watching nature or a side porch listening to thunderstorms with my mama, with a cup of tea.
From my mama’s Southern sweet tea to my first introduction as a young teen to loose-leaf tea, that cup has always seemed to hit the spot. Over the years, I have experimented with blends such as Lavender Fog, tasted teas with bizarre notes such as Lapsang Souchong, found my favorites such as Peach Oolong, and grown in my love for the great variety the tea plant, Camellia sinensis, continues to offer.
While I will never say no to a seasonal latte or cold brew at the local coffee shop, there is something so refreshing, calming, invigorating and exciting about a cup of tea made with fresh loose leaves! It is my desire to share my passion with you!
So join me on the porch, share or shed those deep valleys and high mountains, and sip on a cup of fresh loose-leaf tea, perfect for those magnolia mornings and sweet tea afternoons!
